Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. What CS Translator is

CS Translator is a Windows application that reads the Counter-Strike 2 game console output and translates chat messages in real-time. Translated messages are sent back into the game chat through native game functions.

2. Purchase and access

CS Translator is sold as a one-time purchase. One purchase is tied to one account, and one account may only be used on one computer at a time.

3. No guarantee of continued development

CS Translator is provided as-is. We reserve the right to stop developing, updating, or maintaining the application at any time without notice. Purchasing the application does not guarantee future updates or continued support.

4. Third-party dependencies

CS Translator depends on Counter-Strike 2 remaining functional in its current form. If Valve updates the game in a way that breaks the application, we are not obligated to provide a fix or a refund beyond our standard refund policy.

5. Translation service

CS Translator uses a shared translation service. If demand exceeds capacity, we may require users to provide their own API key to continue using the translation feature. The API key is free to obtain. We will give notice if this becomes necessary.

6. Liability

CS Translator does not modify game memory or game files. We are not responsible for any consequences to your account arising from the use of this application, though no such consequences are expected.

7. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for details.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
